FAQ
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most Twin Cities homes are 1–2 days for tear-off and re-roof. Larger or steeper roofs may take 3 days. We tarp at the end of each day.
Will you work with my insurance?
Yes — hail and wind damage is a major part of our business. We do free inspections, meet adjusters on-site, and provide all documentation needed for the claim.
What's the MN code for ice and water shield?
Minimum 24 inches inside the warm wall, all valleys, and all penetrations. We exceed code in colder zones with full eave coverage.
Class 4 shingles — worth it?
If you've had hail claims before, often yes. Most MN insurers (State Farm, AmFam, Liberty) offer 5–25% premium discounts on impact-resistant shingles.
Should I tear off or layover?
Tear-off is almost always recommended. Layovers void most warranties, hide deck damage, and add weight. Most Twin Cities cities limit you to 2 layers anyway.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — manufacturer material warranty (25–lifetime depending on shingle) plus our 5-year workmanship warranty in writing.
