FAQ
When can you paint my exterior in MN?
Mid-May through mid-October — temperatures need to stay above 50°F overnight for proper paint cure. We schedule exterior work April–May for best availability.
How long will it last?
A properly prepped exterior holds 8–12 years in MN climate. Interior 7–10 years in normal use. We warranty 3 years exterior, 2 years interior.
Sherwin or Benjamin Moore?
Both excellent. We use Sherwin-Williams Duration / Emerald exterior and Benjamin Moore Aura / Regal interior — top-tier lines, not contractor-grade.
Will you move my furniture?
Yes — we move and protect furniture as part of every interior job. All floors and remaining items are covered with rosin paper and plastic.
Do you do color consultation?
Yes — free color consultation included. We bring sample boards and can show you whole-house schemes.
Lead paint — what about pre-1978 homes?
We're EPA RRP certified for lead-safe work practices. Required for any exterior painting on pre-1978 Twin Cities homes.
